    Benchmark was founded in 1972 with the successful introduction of the 'Comfort Fit' wedding band to the US market. Located in Tuscaloosa Alabama, the company produces some of the finest wedding bands in the world using the purest gold and the finest platinum. All benchmark wedding bands are produced by the ‘die struck’ method which provides for a more solid product, one with less porosity and more gold in contrast to regular cast pieces which are more prone to have voids within the metal and can occasionally lead to imperfections and breakage.
